Where
LBK is located in its own venue at Vasavägen 23b in Linköping. You will find us if you enter the courtyard in the first basement door on the left.
The game rooms
The venue has two game rooms with a total of 9 tables in a maximum size of 6’x4′. For these tables, there is a large selection of terrain and mats in different sizes for various different game systems. Each table is also equipped with a whiteboard to write things down while you play. 6 of the tables can be raised and lowered so you can choose the height you play at. There are also storage lockers to rent for the association’s members (perfect if you don’t want to carry everything home with you every time). For those interested, there is also a shelf with various board games that you can play at the venue.
The hobby room
The venue is also equipped with a hobby room where you can sit and work with your armies or perhaps paint terrain for the venue. However, don’t forget to take your things home afterwards (or to your locker if you have one)! Here you will also find most of the venue’s terrain.
Miscellaneous
In addition to the opportunity for games and hobbies, there is also a kitchenette where you can heat food in the microwave, brew coffee and store things in the fridge while you are there.
Booked events
Although the venue is relatively large, it can still be full. Especially when there are tournaments/game days. Tournaments, game days and bookings for more than 2 tables must be made in LBK’s official calendar. Write your booking in organisera_matcher on our Discord. Upcoming booked events are shown on the right side of the website.
Rules
The following rules apply at the venue:
- Swedish law applies at the venue (for more information see Sweden’s law).
- We act nice to each other (or at least civilized).
- There are trash cans, put your trash there. Empty the bins if you are the last to leave the venue (if they are full or contain food waste/food packaging)!
- You may not wear outdoor shoes at the venue. There are shelves to put them on.
- The ventilation can be switched on and off with a timer inside the front door. Do it.
- In the kitchen/hall there is (sometimes) a sack for bottles and aluminum cans, put them in it.
- Do not leave your things lying around at the venue. If you have a locker, they should be there, otherwise they should be at home.
- Clean up after yourself.
- Smoking is not allowed in the courtyard. Go out to the street and away from the house a little bit.
- Clear the game table after you when you have finished playing. All terrain must be packed in the correct box which must be set in the shelves intended for the purpose.
- It is not allowed to do hobby projects on the gaming tables. All that, including painting terrain for the association, should be done in the hobby room.
- Make sure the lights are off, the door is locked, and that nothing powered is on (this includes the ventilation) if you’re the last to leave the venue.
